Our little dude turned ONE last week. I know when children reach their first year birthday milestone, parents around the world yell “I can’t believe how fast this happened. Has it already been an entire year?”. Our little dude has suddenly gone from my little baby boy to this brave and curious toddler. He started taking steps a little over a month ago, and then two weeks ago all of a sudden: he’s walking. It’s a hilarious, wobbly, zombie-type walk that cracks me up.
On Sunday, we had twenty-plus people in our tiny apartment to celebrate our little dude’s first year of life. But in all honesty, I felt like it was a party for Hubby and I to celebrate the fact that we have survived our first year of parenting. It was a fun time, and I’m so blessed to be reminded of the support system that we have in this city. Here are a few photos of the celebration, including L’s meltdown into his smash cake: it’s his birthday — he can cry if he wants to.
